How long is your boat?
18 to 27 ft points to Sailor. 18 to 30 ft points to Captain. 25 to 55 ft points to Admiral.
Question 2
Fresh, salt, or brackish?
Freshwater only: Sailor. Salt or brackish: Captain or Admiral. HD Sailor covers heavy-use freshwater.
Question 3
Need a fast drop?
Integrated Free Fall comes standard on every Admiral. Captain supports the optional Fast Fall add-on. Sailor does not support either.

Standard or HD?
Standard is the core lineup. HD steps up to reinforced SS2205, wireless control with two key fobs, and a widened bolt pattern.
Know the Difference
Free Fall vs Fast Fall: these are not the same thing.
Two ways to drop the anchor fast. One is built into the winch. One is an add-on unit. Knowing which is which saves a confused order.
Integrated Free Fall
Built into every Admiral from the factory. Maximum drop speed with zero motor resistance. Faster and superior to the Fast Fall add-on.
Electronic Fast Fall
Optional unit that bolts onto Captain Series winches. Doubles the standard deployment speed. Not compatible with the Sailor Series.
