What Makes the HD Different

SS2205 Duplex U-Frame

Frame thickness has been increased and upgraded to SS2205 duplex stainless, a higher-grade alloy offering superior strength and improved corrosion resistance over standard 316 SS.

Welded Frame Corners

All frame corners are fully welded for maximum structural rigidity, eliminating flex points and providing increased resistance to stress under heavy load.

SS2205 Upgraded Shafts

Drive shafts are machined from SS2205 for higher tensile strength and dramatically improved corrosion resistance compared to standard shaft materials.

Optimized Drum Geometry

Reduced drum diameter combined with increased length lowers no-tie-off torque load, reducing stress on the motor and drivetrain during deployment and retrieval.

Widened Bolt Pattern

The U-frame bolt pattern has been widened to distribute mounting loads more evenly, improving deck stability and providing additional structural support under dynamic conditions.

Wireless Control Box + 2 Fobs

Full wireless control is included as standard on HD models, not an add-on. The control box and two key fobs are ready to use straight out of the box.

Patented Fast Fall System

The optional electronic Fast Fall System doubles anchor deployment speed with a simple 2-second press of the lower button. The controller boosts voltage to double the motor speed, deploying twice as fast as retrieval. When time matters, no other winch in its class responds faster.

316 SS Construction, IP68 Rated, Pre-Rigged

The 316 stainless steel spool and base plate are built to endure the most demanding saltwater environments. Patented internal condensation mitigation prevents moisture buildup inside the motor housing, protecting electronics from corrosion over time. IP68-rated waterproofing and twin pre-rigged leads mean installation is clean and straightforward. An emergency drive key release ensures you can deploy anchor line manually even in the event of power loss or electrical failure.
