Anchor Winch - Capstan Stainless Steel
Capstan Series | 316 Stainless Steel Capstan Anchor & Pot Hauler Winch
The Capstan Stainless Steel is a vertical, under-deck mounted capstan winch built from 316 stainless steel with a marine-grade sealed motor. Delivering 1100W of power and a 485 lb max pull, it is built for controlled retrieval of anchor rode or heavy pot and trap lines. It comes from the same manufacturing line as leading capstan and pot hauler winches sold internationally, backed by Anchor Winch's marine engineering and support.

316 Stainless Steel, Marine-Sealed Motor
The capstan head and motor housing are built from 316 stainless steel for lasting resistance to saltwater corrosion. The marine-grade sealed motor keeps water and spray out of the housing, so the winch holds up to regular use on an open, wet deck rather than being limited to sheltered mounting locations.
1100W Motor, 485 lb Max Pull
A 1100W motor drives the capstan head with enough torque for a 485 lb (220kg) max pull, giving controlled retrieval of anchor rode or heavy pot and trap lines. Since the capstan head grips by friction rather than spooling line onto a drum, line length is not limited by drum capacity.
Footswitch Control, Breaker Included
A footswitch is included for hands-free operation, so both hands stay free to manage line while the winch is running. A marine-grade circuit breaker is included as well, giving a complete, ready-to-wire package without sourcing extra electrical components.
Low-Noise, Fast Retrieval
The sealed motor runs quiet and smooth compared to typical deck hardware, so retrieval does not turn into a noisy job every time it is used. Fast retrieval speed keeps anchor and pot hauling efficient, whether it is a quick anchor pickup or working through a line of traps.
